N: As biperiden decreases sweating, the patient should avoid extremely hot and humid conditions to reduce risk of heat-stroke and severe hyperthermia. This is especially important for elderly patients and those who abuse alcohol or have chronic illness or CNS (Central Nervous System) disease. Biperiden may cause narrow-angle glaucoma and increase intraocular pressure.
